In this artwork series, I started to hand-sew drawings onto a nylon background. The still-life images I chose to depict I took from different locations I visited or parts of my everyday life. I took them out of their original context as background images and decided to show them in a new light. The lines of the drawings vary in size and character while holding an active dialogue with the surface of the nylon. When adding the element of light, the stitched lines cast shadows that give the drawings a new dimension.
