IRIS POLJAN

Borrowed Thoughts is an artwork project based on collecting thoughts. Thoughts that aren't the artists', but rather borrowed from others. The starting point was to engage people asking them if they would like to participate by sharing a thought. The project involves a selection of thoughts from friends, colleagues, acquaintances and passersby.  

Once collected the thoughts are sewn onto a transparent nylon foil. Each one becomes a part of a site specific ceiling installation.

The project is ongoing.
